How did you get started performing audiobooks, and what were your earliest days like?

I started narrating 17 years ago back when most professional audiobook narrators were working in the DC area, having come out of the Books for the Blind program at the Library of Congress. I was fortunate to have worked with Grover Gardner as my director in the theater, and he encouraged me to make a demo and even helped me get my first clients. My early books, I must admit, were just plain training, but I had the support and wealth of knowledge from more seasoned narrators in the DC community, so I kept after it, and slowly but surely improved with every book.

Gavin Marguerite (born 12 August 1996) is a French former professional rugby league footballer who last played as a centre and winger for the Villeneuve Leopards in the Elite One Championship

He previously played for Toulouse Olympique in the Championship and the Catalans Dragons in the Super League.

Marguerite joined Toulouse in 2016 and made 70 appearances in four seasons, scoring 40 tries.^[4]

Catalans Dragons

After leaving Toulouse at the end of 2019, he signed for Super League side Catalans Dragons ahead of the 2020 season but made no first team appearances.^[4]

Ottawa Aces

On 15 August 2020 it was reported that he had signed for Ottawa Aces in the RFL League 1,^[5] however COVID-19 delayed their entry into League 1 until 2022.^[6]
