Utah-born, Nevada-raised Amanda Righetti began her career with a love for dance at 4 years old. She knew early on that her destiny was to perform. Amanda continued on with plays and productions all through school. At 14 she began her modeling career and soon after her desire for acting took way. Amanda moved to LA at age 18 and a year later was cast on the hit show "The OC" when Warner Brothers and Peter Roth recognized her talent.
After being a part of The OC's success, Righetti became the lead role of "Tessa Lewis" in the TV series "North Shore" in She continued making guest-starring appearances on popular TV shows such as "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "Entourage".
In Amanda had another big break with the TV series "The Mentalist". During that same time, she was cast as the lead role in the remake of "Friday the 13th” and in she took on another film role in "Captain America: The First Avenger", which grossed $65 million on opening weekend.
Righetti exited The Mentalist in and was quickly cast in NBC dramas "Chicago Fire" and "Chicago PD". Shortly after in "Colony" began and Amanda was yet again heavily involved with a hit TV series. Working as a film producer, Righetti oversaw production on numerous TV commercials and short films. After securing a role in the pilot for a proposed, but ultimately scrapped series by the name of No Place Like Home,she played a recurring character in the teen drama The O.C., was a regular in the short-lived prime time soap opera North Shore, and in late , Righetti starred in Fox&#;s drama series Reunion.
