Indonesian politician and diplomat (born 1979)
In this Indonesian name, there is no family name nor a patronymic.
Sugiono (born 11 February 1979) is an Indonesian politician currently serving as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, a position he assumed in 2024 under President Prabowo Subianto's administration.[1] Prior to his appointment as foreign minister, Sugiono held the role of Deputy Chairman of the First Commission of the House of Representatives from 2019 to 2024, where he was responsible for overseeing defense, foreign affairs, and communications.[2]
Early life and education
[edit]Sugiono was born on 11 February 1979, in Takengon, Aceh, Indonesia.
In 1994, he was selected to attend the prestigious Taruna Nusantara High School, where he met his classmate Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, whom he even challenged for the position of chairman of their school's student council.[3]
Upon graduation, he received scholarship to study at Norwich University in the United States, where he earned a BS degree in computer science. He later obtained a Master of Business and Master of Management from the University of Konstanz in Germany.

Anis Matta
Indonesian politician
Muhammad Anis Matta (born 7 December 1968) is an Indonesian politician who serves as a member of Gelora Party. He served as secretary general of Prosperous Justice Party for four consecutive terms (1998–2013) and was appointed for the first time at the age of 29,[1] before being appointed as party chairman.
Biography
[edit]Matta served as Deputy Speaker of People's Representative Council between 2009 and 2014, but resigned on 1 February 2013 to become chairman of PKS.[2] He replaced Luthfi Hasan Ishaaq, who was convicted of corruption.[3] On 10 November 2019, Matta was appointed chairman of Indonesian People's Waves Party (Gelora Party) with Fahri Hamzah former Prosperous Justice Party.[4]
Matta was married to Anaway Irianty Mansyur, with whom he had seven children. He later married a Hungarian woman named Szilvi Fabula in 2006, which led to controversy over polygamy.[5] Matta has three children with his second wife.
